You'll join an open, practical, no-ego leadership team who talk straight and expect the same in return: confident and direct, but not overbearing; empowering, not micromanaging.

You'll play a key part in:

• Owning financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and risk & compliance across the business
• Leading and mentoring a small finance team: Payroll & General Accounting, Accounts Payable, Credit Management, Business Analysis and Cost Accounting
• Lifting the standard of financial reporting and dashboards, and upskilling the broader business in financial acumen
• Partnering with the Business Analyst and leadership team to identify where AI and automation can streamline the finance function
• Supporting the business through an exciting period of change, including site consolidation and continued growth

You'll be genuinely supported from day one, with a structured induction, exposure to every department and site, and regular check-ins as you build your first 30, 60 and 90-day plan alongside the leadership team.

What You'll Bring

• Degree in Commerce or Accounting, with CA or CPA qualification
• Proven experience as a Finance Manager, Financial Controller, Finance Director or similar, ideally within manufacturing or FMCG, with a track record of leading people, plus the ambition to step up further
• Experience with plant or cost accounting
• A genuine, hands-on people-leader style: someone who mentors, empowers and checks in regularly, rather than micromanaging or managing from a distance
• Comfort with financial systems and a real interest in AI and process improvement
• Pronto experience desirable (or similar ERP system)
• The confidence to translate financial insight into plain language for non-financial stakeholders
• A continuous improvement, solution-focused mindset
